Last week, JTM Construction and Gonsalves & Santucci Inc. poured the final portion of the level one post-tension deck at Urban Visions’ office building project, The Jack. This marks the first major milestone in the building’s vertical journey. When complete, the 145,000-square-foot property at 74 S. Jackson St. will rise eight stories, offering great views of the waterfront.
JTM shared some unique features about the 746-cubic-yard deck pour. The pour has five different top of slab elevations and a Seattle City Light duct bank that measures over 5 feet in height at its deepest point. This 100-foot duct bank was poured with red-dyed concrete.
This milestone follows the nearly five-month concrete strike that ended earlier this month.
